Going by the number of cars going down Ferry Road the villages are busy. I might wrap up and have a short daunder after morning coffee. Apart from the News ,I haven't found anything I'd want to watch on the television at this time of day.
18.45 Although misty I had a wander down to see the beach; there wiz 'nae wind' and I felt slightly adventurous. I expected the beach to be quiet considering the weather; there was folk on the beach, and I met people to talk to, so in spite of the grey weather I enjoyed myself. And got a few photies tae play wi' this evening.
Ferry Road was a hive o' activity an hour ago. The workmen were busy on Ferry High Street, and cars couldn't get through; there was a bit o' manoeuvring to get turned, then up Ferry Road, mair manoeuvring to turn at the Links Road junction, then down Ferry Road again and up to Elie. Frantic few minutes on Ferry Road.
I found out that the workmen were still there a wee while ago, when I decided to go out in the car. The plan was to go up Ferry High Street to see if it was finished. What did I do?..... went up to Elie and came home via Ferry Road. I'll find out tomorrow if the High Street is finished.
The mist causes a nice light; everything looks 'different' in the softer light. I'll go out tomorrow.... maybe on 'The Buggy' if it isn't cold. 'Sunny intervals' are forecast tomorrow! With light winds it could be pleasant; if we do get the 'sunny intervals' in the afternoon.
21.45 I've just seen the weather forecast and it could be chilly in the morning. The plan is to charge 'The
Buggy 'battery anyway; whether I go out on it depends on how cold it is, and how busy the roads are. I'll have a walk down to the beach after breakfast, to see how the High Street looks.
