Lovely morrrrrrrrrrrning ....
10th October 2025 (Friday) 10.00 .... It's 'bright and breezy morning, and I have
taken advantage of that by doing a woollen wash (jerseys). The car is being delivered late morning or early afternoon, so I should be able to so the run 'roond the Ferry' that ended so disastrously on on Monday morning. I think I deserve a cup o' coffee!19.45 The car is 'in Residence' on Ferry Road so I'm a happy boy. It's brilliant being 'trapped' in The Royal Burgh', but I have to get out to other places such as The Gateway to The Royal Burgh (Elie) now and again. Ian and Kathryn brought it (the car) back for me in the middle of the afternoon.
It has been a nice sunny day, albeit with a frisky breeze in the morning, but it calmed down in the afternoon. The jerseys I washed have been ironed and are ready to put away. Apart from doing the woollens, and some work in the kitchen I've had a lazy day.
Tomorrow is going to be another sunny day but slightly, colder. Kathryn was saying that this is the beginning of the mid term holidays. Which means busy villages, and tricky parking. I hear a lot of vehicles going down Ferry Road.... and a few going up. Now that I have the car back in action I'll be able to get 'out and about' even m in colder weather. On the 'News' the Palestinians are seen moving back to where they lived before they were moved to 'safer'zones; they had to get out of the cities. Now they travelling 'home'in their thousands., but the homes they left are just heaps of rubble. It must be heartbreaking. However, at least they can move without being shot. Hopefully the ceasefire lead to a permanent 'Peace' but there's a long long way to go yet. 'Peace' in the Middle East "hangs on a shooglie nail "!
