8th February 2025 (Saturday) 09.40 .... It's a bonnie stat to Saturday, but 'light rain with a
gentle Easterly breeze is forecast'. Actually that is the forecast for Ellon (Aberdeenshire), and Uckfield (Sunny Sussex) too! At the moment the sky has a promising look, with a mix of fluffy clouds and blue sky. That said there are showers about; there was one passing over when I was out at the bucket 20 minutes ago. ... and the wind is off the watter so we could get 'light rain' at times! This is going to be day catching up with 'ousework. 20.30 I've had a busy sort of day; having done 'ousework, watched Six Nations, and had a quiet day really. Emily's honey is getting my larynx . back to normal at last; that's after the sore throat I had before Christmas.
It appear strange; but I'm happy that I'm thinking of 'ousework again, because I have not been in the mood to do very much for the past couple of months. I take that as a positive sign. I had hoped that Spring was 'just round the corner' , to bring spells of warm sunshine, it's turning colder out tonight. And the Met Office is forecasting a cold spell of weather .... with Easterly winds. Anyway Alberto and the bike are coming good, and will be ready for any warm weather that comes: hopefully soon!
I went up to the Chemist in the afternoon to pick up my prescription and some other bits and bobs, but missed out the harbour 'cos it was beginning to cloud over.... and I didn't have the camera with me! Today's photos are from the Alberto Archive, ..... both taken at Brighton. I still have that sunhat... and hope to wear it on the hot summer days that are coming!I can't believe what's going on with American politics!..... it's like the country is being run by a playground bully and his assistants. The most worrying thing is the fact he was voted for in huge numbers!
