Dunino to 'Johnny Paul Corner' road |
13.00 With Iain coming down I though I'd better do a shopping so I went to 'The Store' (Ainster). The 'Emergency Rations' have been topped up.... as has the food cupboard and freezer. For a change of scenery I decided to come home by way of Dunino, then the 'Johnny Paul Corner' road to get a few autumn colour photos. Unfortunately the recent gale has stripped 'the tree tunnel' at the Dunino end of the road so that was a disappointment; however I got a few of the roadside trees and hedges, where they had been sheltered from the worst of the gale. It was a nice change of scene, so the journey wasn't a complete waste of time.
The weather is disappointing. The sky has remained overcast, on fact it is now heavily overcast, with only a few short spells when the sun nearly broke through. And it has turned colder.
21.15 Iain arrived just after 17.00. Since then we've had cuppas, dinner, and sorted out the politicians: a very busy evening. Tomorrow we are going to Kirkcaldy to browse 'mobility scooter' places. That said we are thinking that an electric trike would be more 'me'. I would get some exercise on a trike, rather than just sitting on a mobility scooter. Trikes are are faster than mobility scooters.... and Balcarres would be well within in range with a trike. Anyway it has given us something to think about. At the moment I'd say that the trike is 'favourite'.Exercise pedals being used!
