Wall to wall blue sky .....

21st June 2026 (Sunday)     (Summer Solstice)      11.00 .... Beautiful morning;  warm with a light

Southwesterly breeze.   Perfect day for a potter around on the beach .... under a layer of sun cream!   I had a brilliant night's sleep;  didn't wake up until 08.40.    I won't be watching football in the middle of the night again!   Unless Scotland is in the Final!

17 .00    My word .... it's hot..... and we have been busy, having been to 'The Crusoe' (Lower Largo) for Father's D\y lunch;   it was a triple celebration:  we celebrated Janice's Dad Father's Day (and Birthday), and Michael's and  My Father's Day.

The Car Park was really busy when we got there, with the Local Community Group walk, starting from the Crusoe Car Park; the walkers, led by a Pipe Band, then walked up to the play park, at the Bowling Green, to have a picnic.

We enjoyed Lunch at 'The Crusoe.   As usual I had 'Fish n' chips, followed by ice cream.    We had  expected the Hotel to be busy with people celebrating Father's Day;  but is wasn't!    Perhaps, younger Father's would be celebrating by taking the kids to the beach.   It certainly has been a nice day for that!  Anyway we enjoyed our Lunch, the Staff cheery, helpful  and happy.   Just like we were!   Nae wrinkles on 'puku' tonight!    Puku? .... Maori for stomach.

21.30     I'm taking a break from watching the Belgium v Iran World Cup Game from Los Angeles.   At half time the score is 0 - 0.    It has been entertaining game;  with Belgium  the better of the teams, but the Iranian goalkeeper is good!

It has been sunny and warm today;  but, according to   According to the weather forecast we could have
light rain tomorrow;  the wind has backed to the East and is coming off the water!     Janice and Michael are travelling home (Sussex) tomorrow, so we have to get up early to leave , for the Leven Train Station, at 09.00.   This has been a rest day for me;  and I enjoyed my Father's Day treat.    My new 'Father's Day' TV is brilliant, with an assortment of Channels;  could cause me a bit of  excitement looking for them!

Today's photographs take at 'The Crusoe Hotel'.
