Nice morning ....

5th June 2026 (Friday)     09.45 .... We have a lovely morning here in KY9;   sunny, with clouds

scuttling over on a fresh WNW wind.    light rain showers are forecast , but at the moment it's just a nice, fresh, morning.   Me?..... I'm feeling brighter:  not quite bushy tail;ed' but definitely brighter.    And, I think I have solved the problem I had yesterday with my asthma!    The Lilac Tree!..... I'm allergic to the blossom.    Every time I went out to the gate yesterday, my breathing was affected by something.

Heather and Ray came down for coffee and a chat in the evening, and it wasn't until I was saying cheerio, at the gate, that I suddenly realised that my breathing had deteriorated.   I had to use the 'bloo' inhaler.   Anyway I had a good night's sleep, and have taken an anti-histamine pill, so I'm almost ready to do some gentle 'pottering' around Ivy.   I'm keeping an eye on the clouds;  at the moment they don't look the threatening type, but that could change!    I have a bed sheet on the line.

21.30    It has been a busy nice day; but too hot and humid for me.   I've done a few small things around the house, but it was far too hot in the afternoon;  I went to The Hutte, and did a few Soduko's.   The Blackie had a grans whistling session in the middle of afternoon;  that is one of the best benefits of the hearing aids.... I can hear the birds doing their thing.    Even the Dunnock (Hedge Sparrow) was twittering away this afternoon.   The birds must like hot and humid weather.

I've been watching Faisal Islam (BBC Economics Editor) interview the co Founder of  'Anthropic', Jack Clark. They were talking about how fast, and far, AI has developed over the last 5 years:  and the effect it will have on human lifestyle in the future.   It was really interesting , and you could see that Jack Clark was  concerned  about some of the 'side effects' AI would have worldwide, on the human population.   Job losses being one of them.    AI will create new jobs, and good well paying jobs;  but will also make many other jobs 'redundant'.

When sitting in The Hutte this afternoon, I began to wonder;   will the human brain begin to 'shrink'

because AI is going to be doing the work that our brains did?   Of course that would be a long term evolution thing!   Maybe I should stay out of The Hutte!     Anyway it was a really interesting, and thought provoking interview.

Tomorrow?     Hmmmm ... there is a change of wind direction to the SE, with light rain and a moderate breeze.   The good news is that the pollen count will be low. and it should be cooler.    I intend going to Methil to annoy Alice, then do a bit of shopping in Leven.   Of course that all depends on how I'm feeling in the morning.
