Light rain .....

20th October 2026 (Tuesday)    09.30 .... We have a grey sky with light rain, coming in from the
North Sea, on a fresh SE breeze this morning:  it's not a "going out to play" morning.    Me? .... If I do go out, it will be in the car.  Right now I have 'Blob' to feed.   After doing that, I'll have an early morning coffee and come up with a 'plan' for today.

14.00   'Owlbert' has been a busy boy!   The early morning coffee must have activated the brain cell, and then some!  I decided to loup intae the car, and go up to Elie and make an appointment with Lorraine to have my hair cut. Appointment made (2.45), I felt slightly adventurous , and fancied going down to the harbour.    I say adventurous because there was a frisky SE wind, and it would be 'really frisky' at the harbour.    On the way down I moored up at 'The Toft' to take a few 'today' photies.

Being sheltered from the worst of the wind I has a short walk along The Terrace, before venturing sown to the harbour.    There was a fair number of people wandering around, presumably holidaymakers.  They were well wrapped up!    Even the dog was wearing a 'jacket'.   The air didn't feel as cold as I thought it was going to be at The Toft; and, although windier at the harbour, it wasn't as cold as I expected it to be at the harbour.   Having said that;  I didn't take any chances.... I  took the few photographs I wanted.from inside the car.

It's the 'Friendship Lunch' at Colinsburgh tomorrow.   The only reason I happen to know that is because Charmain  (Robbie's daughter) reminded me when I went in to have my hair cut.   I might go to Colinsburgh;  it depends on how I'm feeling.... and what the weather is.    Heavy rain is forecast for morning time.

The rain never really came to much today, and the 'sunny intervals' were few;  in fact I don't remember any.
Actually the sky is brighter now than it has been all day;  and it's also colder.

Today's photographs: Top - The Terrace Elie,  Middle - Elie harbour from 'Hyde Park',  and Bottom -  The Toft from 'Hyde Park'.
