Nice morning ....
1st October 2026 (Thursday) 09.25 .... It's a morning for doing a bit of the Coastal Path; or, in
my case going for a short walk with the 'hurdy gurdy'. When I get the new , lightweight, 'hurdy gurdy' (hereafter Rollator) I shall try longer walks. Anyway, we have a gorgeous morning, and I have things to do. Starting with an early morning coffee!

19.30 This has been a beautiful Autumn day; it felt and looked like a summer's day! I had a walk to the beach, and plonked myself down on one of the seats and enjoyed a relaxing few minutes chatting to Neil. I then wandered along to John's and Jenny's seat and had another relaxing few minutes taking photographs, and enjoying our scenery. I then walked up Cross Wynd to the High Street, took a few more photies, then ambled home; and put the kettle 'on'.
Iain phoned to day that he has hurt his back, so can't come down this weekend. He hurt his back a couple of years ago, and occasionally does it in again! I certainly wouldn't want him to drive a long way, that would only aggravate it. All this means is a change of plan'. I won't get the lightweight Rollator this weekend; but 'JB' arrives. from 'Sunny Sussex' next weekend, and is staying for a week, so we'll get it sometime that week.
I'm assuming that I'll have the car back for this weekend.
Ir was great being down at the beach again; not actually on the beach, but enjoying looking at it on such a bonnie day. Actually the beach wasn't as busy as I thought it would be on such a day; having said that there were a drew dog walkers out, with quite a few people on the beach at the Breakwater. The mid term school holidays haven't started yet; that's when it gets really busy, especially if this kind of weather stays with us.
22.45 I haven't made a 'plan' for tomorrow; I can't, until I find out what's happening with the car.
I'll phone the garage sometime in the morning. However, the change of plan gives me more time to get ready for 'JB' coming next weekend. The 'plan' has been adjusted; the only thing bothering me now is getting the car back after it's MOT. I should be a 'happy boy' sometime tomorrow.

It's almost a miracle just how lucky the people on the Air Dubai plane were: the Captain was able to unlock the cockpit door, in spite of having been stabbed; this allowed other brave people into the cockpit to overpower the assailant and, thankfully, bring the plane to a safe landing. Now I'm wondering: What makes someone so full of hatred that they are prepared to sacrifice a plane load of innocent people, and their own life .... for what? There's certainly too much hatred and evil, around the World nowadays.... especially in the Middle East. It's going to take some clever, and brave, politicians, to come up with a solution to the problems that plague the Middle East.
