Nice morning ....

7th September 2025 (Sunday)     08.00 .... The sun has yet to burn off the early

'The Braes' - Pittenweem.
morrrrrning cloud;  and.... after that happens we can look forward to, 'sunny intervals with light showers' around KY9 today.   It's a nice peaceful kind of morning;  a good morning for me pottering around Ivy.   I've had breakfast; now I need an early morning coffee;  that should help me come up with a 'plan' for the day.

11.45    I decided to go a wander out on the Middle pier at St Minnins;  but the St Minnins Festival is 'on' just now, with traffic cones (and cars) all over the place, so I abandoned that plan and went to 'The Braes' car park in Pittenweem.    The tide was out (it was too windy for reflections anyway) so which isn't the best tide time to photograph the West Shore houses.   Anyway I got a few photographs to play with so I'm happy.

'House on the rock' - Pittenweem Harbour.
15.00    I couldn't believe it:  I was watching the Tour of Britain.... until it came to the last 20 kilometres, when the commentator said "to watch the last 20 km you will now have to leave Channel 26 (ITV4) and go to ITV X".   I don't have a computer TV so I went on to the computer and discovered that I'd have to pay to watch ITV X.   The only thing I am prepared to pay, to watch TV, is the licence.   I'll see the end of the race on the replay this evening.   I am not a 'happy bunny'.

20.15   Although disappointed by not seeing the final 20 kilometres of The Tour of Britain (I wonder if that was deliberate ploy to get people to sign up to ITV XI watched the replay so I'm a 'happy bunny' again.
I was kind of hoping to see and photograph the 'Blood Moon' this evening, but the clouds prevented
West Shore - Pittenweem.
that:  however the sky is starting to break up so the moon might be visible later.... but not a 'Blood Moon'.
Tomorrow is going to be sunny with a moderate SW breeze;  I'll try to go up to Kinneuchar on the bike sometime tomorrow.
