Bright and breezy ....
28th September 2025 (Sunday) 10.30 .... we have a nice sunny morning with a light Westerly
breeze; a perfect morning for drying the downie cover. I will have a daunder down to the beach after morning coffee; I don't like taking photographs in the middle of a sunny day.... unless we have big clouds building up... and that's not happening just now.
20.00 I've been really busy all day; that includes taking time out to have walk up to the golf course in the morning.... where I met, and chatted to Irene, who was busy in her garden. I had hoped we could sit on a seat at the Thistle Clubhouse, but they were still damp after last night's rain; so we had to staun and chat. Irene plays bowls and golf so is a fit lady. And looking well I might add.
From, 'stood staunin' chatting to Irene I ambled back to Ivy, and had a cuppa. I then organised the pots and pans to make a batch o' mince and tautties after lunch. In between I did a wee bit o' work to JB's bed. (Put the pillows inside their covers). After a lite bite lunch I had a cat nap: woke up after about three quarters of an hour. The cuppa I'd made before I fell asleep, had to go into the microwave for 40 seconds, and was enjoyed with a shortbread biscuit. I was now ready to make the mince and tautties.
22.30 I'm looking forward to 'JB' coming, tomorrow he expects to arrive round about 11.00. The downie just needs to be put into it's cover and that's his bed sorted. I'm well ready for bed tonight: tomorrow will be a 'rest day'. I get the car back tomorrow, so that will bez our mission in the afternoon. Off to make the 'orlicks after a tiring day.
