Nice morning ....

25th August 2025 (Monday)     08.45 ..... It's a beautiful 'sunny and already warm morning'

Park Place - Elie
here in KY9;  and it's going to be hot in the middle of the day.   There is a light breeze from the southerly direction, but I suspect that it could be uncomfortably hot for 'mature' people.  Me? ..... I'm waiting for the bin men emptying the 'broon' bin .... so that I can get rid of more weeds.

19.45    It has been a nice, warm and sunny day;  a little bit too hot in the afternoon (26.8C) for me. It's 22.7 just now... and I've just had a cuppa at the patio table.   It really is a lovely evening;  I might take a short walk up the road after this update.

I had a good work session in the morning, after the bin men had been.   All the pruning that Iain did has been cut to size, and put intae the broon bin ....  and I did a bit more pruning to the ivy.   This was going to be a 'rest day', but I'm going to visit Alice tomorrow so that will be my rest day.

From 12.30 it became too hot for me being out, so I went and had a light lunch, and watched the 'News'.

If I have got this right; the IDF has killed another 5 journalists reporting from inside Gaza.  The Israelis deny targeting journalists and their cameramen, having killed 5 just a couple of weeks ago.   All they (the journalists and their cameramen) were doing was their job;  reporting what is happening in Gaza.   Apparently they were just unlucky to be accidentally on the receiving end of an Israeli missile strike.  Why don't I believe that? ... because they hit the same part of the target  (hospital) twice.

Everything happening in Gaza, every day now, is just as evil as the original attack by the Hamas terrorists on Oct 7th.   I really feel sorry for all the Israeli's and Palestinians who know that wars don't solve anything.   Antisemitism must be at astronomical levels all round the world just now:  We live on a beautiful Planet, why not try living in harmony, and just enjoy Mother Earth!

22.30   Tomorrow is definitely a rest day at Alice's.   Actually there's a change on with the weather tomorrow;  we have a

chance of light showers... and the wind is veering to the SW.   It shouldn't be as hot and dry as it has been.   Sunny days on an East wind are excellent drying days, but not good for delicate skin.
