Lovely morning ....

23rd August 2025 (Saturday)    12.00.... I'm ate doing 'The Hutte' because we've been up to Chapel Green
on 'The Buggy' .... and over 'the Green' to Maggie's seat.   I was surprised to see how small the buggy looks with someone on it.   When on 'the buggy' it feels huge.   Anyway Iain went up to Chapel Green and went on to the Green at the place I had looked at the other day.  There are no problems going on to' and coming 'off' the Green.  I went up to Chapel Green immediately after Iain ....and across to Maggie's seat.
We're going up there (Chapel Green)  in the afternoon:  Iain is going to look for insects; including the Wall Brown butterfly.    I'll stay at Maggie's Seat and have afternoon coffee.

Iain has been working in the garden (there's much to be done) and I am going to put some of the weeds in the 'broon' bucket.  It (the 'broon' bin') goes out to be emptied, on Monday morning. It will be half full by Monday night.

19.00     Iain has done a load of work, as Michael, and Janice, did when they were  here a couple of weeks ago.   Iain removed a lot of the weeds today, which is why the 'broon bucket is almost full.  There's enough room for any kitchen rubbish produced tomorrow.

We had another trip up to Chapel green in the afternoon;  Iain by way of the beach, while I went up the \high Street.
Chapel Green was busy!   A group of 20 or so  walkers appeared.  I should have asked them where they had started from,  and where they intended finishing:  but I was feeling shy at the time.   Iain went for a walk round the Dome Park while \i eventually set off for \ivy to put the kettle'on'.  I met my near neighbour Christine, out for an afternoon stroll with her son, on the way home.

Iain is going home tomorrow afternoon;  and he's on a mission!   He has to meet Catriona off the
Glasgow train in Aberdeen ; round about 17.30.   We have one job planned for the morning, so that he can leave in plenty of time.

22.00    Heather, Ray and Alistair came down this evening, so we've had a good old, catch up chat.   They left a wee while ago so I'm going to join Iain with a cuppa then get off to bed:  I'm tired after watch... er... helping Iain this afternoon!.
