warbling away in the Rowan tree; he's a bonnie whistler. We have "light cloud with a gentle breeze" so pleasant enough to be out. I'm hoping for a sunny spell or two, but they're not mentioned in our weather forecast. Actually the breeze is backing to the ESE so we'll probably have 'light cloud' for most of the day.
Iain is out doing something in the garden; my job id making mince n' tautties for lunch .... and Cottage Pie ready meals.
20.00 Iain and I have had a productive day; Iain working in the garden and planning converting the wee shed for keeping a Mobility scooter in..... and me working in the kitchen producing a succession cuppas.... and doing the mince n' tautties. I got our lunch and 5 ready meals for the freezer. That was from 1.5kg of mince and loads o' mixed vegetables. I am well shattered now, but happy with what we've done. Iain is coming down in a couple of weeks, when we'll have another look at mobility scooters; and might even buy one. Browsing on line is helpful daunting; but there are so many to choose from. We hope to get a trial run the next time we go to Kirkcaldy.
It has been good day for doing things; Iain made big progress with tidying up the garden, and I am kna... er shattered with staunin' in the kitchen most of the mornin'. Tomorrow will be a 'rest day'. The forecast for us is .... 30 second pause .... is .... "light rain with a moderate breeze from the East". I'm looking for sunny spells. East end o' the "Staunin' Stane" road.
We have Episode 5 of 'Nightsleeper' tonight (The last episode is tomorrow night). I think I'll make the bed time chocolate drink after this update, and get into the loungers; I'm well tired after a busy weekend.
