Bonnie morning .....

27th September 2024 (Friday)    09.15 .... There's still a cool Northerly breeze, but the wind has

moderated  so there's less wind chill;  a grand drying day.    That reminds me the washing will be ready to hang out.... back in 10 minutes.    (09.30)   Hanging out the washing was chilly on the haunds.... but it's done and it's a good drying day so I'm happy.  Now what's next?   Oh aye ....I'll have a fresh cuppa, then sort out the bedroom.

23.15    Iain arrived just after 17.00:  we had a cuppa then went to 'Ainster Store' to get some vital necessities ... such as milk, bread and vital foodstuff.   We were half way to Pittenweem when I remembered that we hadn't bought bread.    However we had plenty milk and some food (ready meals);  plus a top for the 'Emergency Ration' tins!    Can't forget the 'Emergency Rations.

The plan for tomorrow is to go to Kirkcaldy to have a look at Mobility Scooters, and do a good stock up shopping for the week.   That will include bread!   The car is in 'dry dock'  so I 'm taking advantage of Iain being here.    I've been thinking about a mobility scooter for a wee while now;  I think it would be the best way for me to get round the villages with the camera.   Anyway we're only looking tomorrow, and I'd  keep the car for at least another year.

I've had a quiet, and restful day restful day.  I never went anywhere because I was in a 'potter around Ivy' mood.    I didn't even go out with the camera, but I sorted out another Folder of photographs.

The bunch of grapes I got from Valerie.... and grown in the Royal Burgh!    Maggie and I once grew some but they were sour;  whereas Valerie's grapes are sweet.   I made wine with our grapes;  it was dry.... and had a lingering effect!....leaving me with a 'migraine.   It actually tasted 'good'.... dry with a regal aftertaste..
