Bright and breezy (weather too) ....
10th June 2022 (Friday) 08.15 ....Blue sky all over ... wellll, the sky
actually... so it’s a bonnie start to the day. There’s a frisky wind from the West (F4), which is going to freshen, with the chance of precipitation, in the afternoon. I’ll get the bike out and go for the paper .... might even go via Elie Estate.... after hanging out a washing,.... I had an early breakfast. I notice lumps of cotton wool clouds bumbling over so the 'bloo' sky is starting to look interesting; and I'm ready for another cuppa.
16.00
It has been a lovely day... and I may
have a touch of the sun. I went for the
paper in the car, then had an early morrrrrrrrning coffee before going out on
the bike in the warm sunshine. Mind you
I wasn’t in the sun coming through Elie Estate but I had been out to Kinneuchar
Station. Since then I have been fiddling
about with cameras....falling asleep in The Hutte.... and am now about to iron
the bits of washing that need it. It
has been a perfect drying day.
22.00 I intended going up to Chapel Green in the evening but we’ve had a couple of squally showers so I’ve decided to cancel that plan... and put the kettle ‘on’ instead. In between the showers it is fine but the gaps in between are short. I’ll go out early in the morning; the forecast is for strong winds all day, but it’s sometimes quiet(er) at 06.00. By strong I mean F7 – 8.
I’ve
enjoyed today; the wind being from the
Westerly direction means my breathing is better: not back to where it was pre virus but there’s
noticeable improvement. A decent few
weeks o’ summer weather is what we all need.
I see that there’s new variant of the virus causing the case numbers to rise again. For
people with breathing problems could mean going back to being cautious regarding socialising. I know that I wouldn’t want to go backwards... now that I’m starting to feel better.
