Colourful sunrise ....
12th
September 2019 (Thursday) 07.30....It was a lovely morning
when I
was on the beach but we now have an overcast sky and it looks like it’s going
to rain. The forecast isn’t bad, but
spells of light rain are mentioned for our area. We had a colourful sunrise, I wouldn’t say
it was red... more golden but I guess that can be interpreted as ‘a warning’ of
inclement weather.

I
am organised for the Nurse this morning, then we will go to Harbour House for
morning coffee.
22.00 The weather improved after lunch and ‘M’ and
I had a busy day. First we went to Harbour
House for coffee as planned for the morrrrrrning: Joyce came
in for her weekly meeting with her pals, so she and ‘M’ chatted (they were
school friends .... a long time ago... er a few years ago)... my word
they made a lot of noise. It was an
enjoyable morning coffee as ever.

We
decided to go to the Fudge Doughnut Factory Cafe for a ‘lite bite’ lunch ....
we had stovies and a goodie. On the way
out ‘M’ insisted that we buy two Fudge Doughnuts: right enough you can’t go to ‘the’ Fudge
Doughnut factory and leave without Fudge Doughnuts. We came home along a meandering route that
took in Ceres and New Gilston .... I think we might have been ‘lost’ ... until
we eventually, accidentally entered New Gilston.
The
evening turned out to be the best part of the day so we went along to
Pittenweem
Harbour to have a ‘browse’.
I was surprised at the number of boats in the harbour; it looked a really industrious fishing port.

The
weather forecast is good for tomorrow .... mostly ‘wall to wall’ sunshine so we’re
going to do a washing then go for a run along to Pettycur Harbour, and have a ‘lite(r) than today bite’ lunch somewhere.... probably the Harbour Master’s House at
Dysart.... unless I can think of some other harbour cafe place.
