Car key mislaid .... and found
6th
November 2018 (Tuesday)
.... 08.30 I’ve had my fix of Royal
oxygen, and that has me feeling friskier than I was yesterday, though the
ability to actually be frisky is harder!
We have a misty, and damp start to the morning, but should get a few sunny
spells by mid morning.
Rain is forecast for tonight and tomorrow morning.

I
am a frustrated boy this morning; I’ve
mislaid the car key. The only thing I
know is that it must be in Ivy; because the car is at the door and locked up. Normally when I mislay something they are
hanging on the wrong hook; not this
time. It will be somewhere stupid. Must go ...’slight flap on’ .... I’m
hungry.
09.30 The car key has been found...
accidentally, because I wisnae looking for it.
I went to get a fresh battery for the camera and found the key in the
camera bag; finding the key surprised me; but when
I think of it, finding it in the camera bag did
not. Oh well .... I’ll have a cuppa to celebrate.

16.00 I’ve had a mixed kind of day so far; did some computer stuff, then some
‘ousework... and finally took time out to go to Woodhaven recycling place: when there I walked over to the Lady’s
Tower. It was quite blowy out there,
and cold, ... it certainly blew the cobwebs away. I’m missing my morning coffee at Harbour
House; this might explain why I’m
feeling ‘under the weather’. Actually
at one point I felt like I was walking on two balloons, not a bad feeling ....
but strange. I’m assuming it was
caused by my sair knee.
22.30 I’m looking forward to morning coffee in
Harbour House tomorrow; and a decent
cheese scone. The weather forecast for
tomorrow is slightly ‘iffy’; rain early turning to ‘showers with sunny
spells’.... actually that would be better written as “sunny spells with showers”. Emphasising the ‘sunny spells’. I might go shopping after lunch... it all
depends on how I’m feeling. I like to
feel unconquerable when
shopping.

Jim
and I had an interesting evening talking about Earlsferry’s industrial past...
of which there is little sign now; some
of the fairway names on the golf course are clues.
