..... It was bonnie down on the beach at
sunrise time, with clouds around to spread the sunrise colours across the sky....

sky in the morning etc.” It looks
like being a nice day, the ‘red sky’ was only there to be admired! I’ll have a cuppa after this update, then
go for a walk.... there’s not much exercise involved with taking photographs of
the sun rise.
22.30 The “Red sky in the morning, shepherd’s
warning” that I mentioned above, was followed by a “Red sky at night, the
Shepherd’s delight”; so we should have
a nice day tomorrow. We have had a
nice day ‘today’, in spite of the ‘red’ sunrise, but I did see a few showers rattling
across the Lammermuir Hills, on the ‘sooth side’, and we did have more in the
way of clouds.... but no rain.
As
it was a lovely afternoon I went for a
walk .... the beach, Chapel Green and home by the golf course walk, a distance
of nearly 3k, and my knee wasn’t that sair.
Mind you it probably will be tomorrow.
I also went down to the beach at
sunset time, and was pleasantly surprised to find the beach ‘busy’ with people
out enjoying a quiet

evening walk. Having
said that, I ‘see’ everyone as essential parts of a scene I want to photograph,
bringing life into a picture, albeit usually in the distance. Our auld
villages enjoy being ‘alive’.
I
got a pleasant surprise in the evening, Heather and Alistair dropped in for a
drop of the ‘Hutte Finest’ .... as in ‘black.
Jings my coffee, with milk in it tastes foul ... lovely.... so
must my ‘black’ coffee. We put the
world to ‘rights’ ... again. You know,
when you think about it, there are people all over the World that want our Planet
sorted; the problem is nobody listens. ‘God’ must often regret putting humans on Mother
Earth! Just now the World’s human population is
reckoned to be 7.2 billion, and forecast to be 9.6 billion by 2050... and they
ain’t goin’ to be ‘stood staunin’ looking’ at each other!

There’s going to be an awfie lot of poor
people around: of course there will be
a few extremely rich people as well.
That’s the World,.... not sorted.
I
read, on the BBC news page, that the ‘President Elect’ has called Fidel Castro
a “brutal dictator” ... it takes one to know one! I’m thinking of Mennie in Aberdeenshire.
