'Trinity' Church Guild Coffee Morning .....
18th
November 2017 (Saturday)
.... 09.00 There was hardly any wind
when I was on the beach this morning, so, although the temperature was near
freezing,
it doesn’t feel as cold as it did yesterday; having said that the wind is forecast to get ‘up’
with the rising tide.

Ian
is coming down from Auchnagatt this morning, so it will be all action this
weekend. He’s only here until Jimmy’s
funeral (Monday). Hopefully the weather
will stay fine... if cauld; the forecast
for the next couple of days is good. Must ‘go’ slight ‘flap on’ ... got a Coffee
Morning (laden with goodies) to ‘grace with my presence’.
20.30 Iain arrived at lunch time, and, having
bought sandwiches (salmon) on the way down from Auchnagatt, we had those for
lunch....followed by ‘goodies bought at the Coffee Morning. A tasty lunch actually. The Coffee Morning was excellent, but seemed
quieter than usual; that said, it was very
enjoyable, with plenty of tea/coffee
and scones, and chat.

Re
the time of Jimmy’s funeral service at Kilconquhar Church. The Death Notice in Thursday’s Dundee
Courier, had the time as 1.p.m.... this was wrong. The mistake
has been corrected in today’s Courier, .... the actual time of the service being 1.30 p.m.
on Monday, 20th November.
This
has been a lovely day, but cold, especially exposed to the brisk wind. Iain and I went for a walk up to Chapel
Green in the afternoon; it was very cold walking up Sea Tangle road,
where we had the wind in our faces, but, more enjoyable as soon as we turned
side on to the wind.... even better when the wind
was on our backs. We had a good bumble around Chapel Green
with the cameras; finding sheltered
places from which to ‘shoot’.

Tomorrow
the ‘plan’ is to go to Leven to take Iain’s car through the car wash; followed by a cuppa in Sainsbury’s. The weather forecast for tomorrow is pretty
much the same as today’s: the forecast
for Monday is not good. The wind is to
be Easterly for a time with rain.
