Light cloud ....

5th November 2026 (Thursday)    09.00 .... It's a nice morning, with a layer of light cloud hiding
the dun at the moment.    However the sky is showing promising brighter patches, so we could have sunny spells, though they aren't mentioned in the weather forecast.   I like 'sunny spells'.  Oh, nearly forgot;  there's a moderate  ENE  wind so it's chilly!    And, Ferry Road is still busy with diverted traffic.   Any walking I do will be after morning coffee!   

16.30     This has been a grey November day mostly; but we did have a dew sunny spells in the middle of the day.    That was when I went for a short walk.    I think it's the first time that I have gone out, in the afternoon,  and never met anyone.    I only went to the Town Hall then down to the beach, and had a shirt walk along the dunes, and up Ferry Wynd.    It was actually round about lunch time which is probably why I didn't meet anyone.    There was a lot of vehicular traffic.  

It was nice enough being out, but the breeze was chilly, and I was happy to get back to Ivy and put the kettle 'on':  then browse through the photographs I'd taken.   Although there was very little sunshine at the time, it was peaceful and the light was good.   However,  As, I had expected on a day like this, the beach was not busy;  in fact I only saw a single dog walker!

After a late lunch I set about organising today's photographs.  Unfortunately I had migraine, so had to abandon working with the  photographs, to have a couple of pills and settle down to watch  TV.  that's always a good idea when I have a migraine;  I fall asleep.  I woke up almost as hour later.   Feeling brighter because of the pills, I had a cuppa while watching the News , then went back to work on the photographs.
