sky this morning, so there’s a definite improvement there, and the wind
has backed to the Northwest: however there
are heavy clouds gathering in the western sky so it looks like being a mixed
bag of weather today. We will have
sunny spells later, of that I’m sure.... in the meantime the bike remains in
the shed, and ‘the boy’ in Ivy Cottage;
I’m hungry and will go to the beach after breakfast.
16.30 I have had a slightly more active day,
having managed to go to the beach, then up to Elie for ‘morning coffee’ in Harbour
House, with Myra, Jim and Geoff. There’s
a ‘Coffee Morning’ in the Church Hall tomorrow, which I’ll have to attend; got to catch up with all the ‘Coffee Morning’ news from the hinterland parts of the East Neuk Trinity Church
territory. That’s Colinsburgh and
Kinneuchar. I’m thinking that I might
get the bike out for tomorrow’s Coffee Morning;
we had rain in the

afternoon today, which brought an end to outside
activities. However, it looks like we
could have a bonnie evening, as the sun has broken through the clouds.
20.00 Funnily enough I’ve done a fair amount of
computer work today; though I’d rather
have been ‘out and about’. I’ve also
been watching the News on the tele,
which has been dominated by another Westminster ‘terror incident’, and the
Genoa bridge collapse. The saying
.... “no news is good news”.... is probably right. Unfortunately we never wake up to “no news”; there’s always “news” happening somewhere on
the planet. Having said that, it’s
not all ‘doom and gloom’ .... there are
good things happening around the world too.

weather tomorrow it isn’t;
we’re going to have another mixed bag of weather.
Hey
.... we have the Coffee Morning in the Kirk Hall tomorrow; that’s something to look forward too. Loads of ‘news’ .... of the happy kind. I‘m hoping to bike along to the Kirk
Hall; that depends on the weather of course.
