Nice morning with a cool SE breeze....
7th March 2024 (Thursday) 08.00 .... It's a nice morning but the breeze coming off the North Sea
is cauld; that said we should have sunny spells, once the sun rises above a big bank o' cloud. It's never going to be warm today but it will be brighter. I'm going to Methil to visit Alice; we're gong to have lunch at the local kirk. It's time for another cuppa .... and breakfast. 'Blob' has been fed.

09.00 .... The sun is struggling to rise above the cloudbank; because the cloudbank is moving NW just that wee bit faster than the sun is rising. Hopefully the sun should start to burn back said clouds.... and we will be bathed in lovely sunny spells. I'm going to have another cuppa.
18.30 The sky brightened up a bit in the middle part of the day, but the sunny spells never got going.... and the cold breeze off the sea was with us the whole time. Not the most pleasant of days as far as the weather went.
As planned I went to Leven and Methil; I got through by way of Kinneuchar and Colinsburgh. I had hoped to use the Balchrystie road but it was 'Closed'. The Balchrystie road must be the only bit that needs work done; the finishing date is the 15th March. As planned Alice and I went to
Sainsbury's to do some shopping.... and were back at HQ in time to go for lunch in the Wellesley Kirk Hall. There's a good choice of food.... we had 'Fish 'n Chips'. Two weeks ago we had roast beef with all the trimmings.... and helpings are big! After coffee and a goodie back at Alice's HQ, I set off for Ivy and was back home by 14.00. The messages were in their appropriate places, tea made and me sound asleep in front of the tele, by 14.30; after an enjoyable, relaxing day.
