Bright and breezy ....
16th July2023 (Sunday) 10.00 It is a bright and breezy morning with the
Fife Coastal path at Chapel Green |
chance of showers around the middle of the day. I’ve been for the paper and round the villages (I’m enjoying the bike being fully functional again); actually it’s cool for the time of year .... the wind is F4 from the SSW so there is wind chill. There was a bonnie ‘light’ when I was out so I have a wheen o’ photographs to ‘play’ with. Slight ‘Flap on’ now.....it’s for morning coffee time.
Tadej Pogacar....who, once again finished with the same time.... a few minutes behind the Winner. Wout van Ert was second. Tomorrow is a rest day with Time Trial Stage on Tuesday.
21.45 I saw the end of the tennis; it was, like the cycling .... an exciting final. I’ll
have a slight problem re sports watching at the end of this week; this is the last week of ‘le tour (finishes
in Paris on Sunday).... and The Open begins on Thursday at Royal Liverpool.
Iain
(Auchnagatt) had thunder and heavy rain today so we were lucky; I don’t think we even had much in the way of
thunder clouds around us today. I was
working in The Hutte on and off all afternoon and never went out looking for
thunder clouds.
Tomorrow’s weather is ‘light showers with a fresh breeze’.... not quite as windy as it was
today. Thankfully we’re missing the heat wave that is hitting parts of Europe and the US of A; I’d like us to be a wee bit warmer than it was today, but definitely not super warm.
