grey morning; the temperature
just now is 12c. The sky is heavily
overcast but so far no Scotch Mist so I might get the bike out to go for the
paper.
I
see in the 'News' that New Zealand
has it’s first two new cases of COVID-19 in 24 days: follow the link to read the BBC News
report. This shows how hard it’s going
to be to stop this virus spreading once international travel really opens up again. Must go ‘slight flap on’; need another cuppa.
07.30 It’s pleasant ‘out’ this morning (just now
anyway) in spite of the mist; the views
are not very generous but the air is warm and dry. There is an increased ‘chance of
precipitation’ later. I didn’t go to
the harbour nor up to Chapel Green but I hope to get out (on the bike) about
midday.... today is one of those ‘iffy’ forecasts for electric bikes.
16.30 There’s thunder and lightning down towards
the Borders and the air has the feel of thunder about it just now. I went up to Chapel Green (on the bike) at
11.30 then through the estate and to the harbour: the estate road was quiet but the short bits
of the main road I was on was busy.
There was activity at the harbour ; Mr ‘B’

'Sundance' (Steve). |
(Steve) was out on the bay in ‘Sundance’ ... that was
a lovely sight. Jimmy and I loved
sailing on days like this ....
just drifting along without a care in
the world.
The
sun has broken through so it looks like being a nice evening; I might go out again after I have a bite to
eat. Mind you Scotland’s weather has
been very mixed of late so it could change again in ‘nae time’ Orf out to The Hutte to do a Soduko.
21.00 It’s hard to get really fired up on grey
days ; and even harder when there’s succession of them. I like seeing the villages in every kind of
weather (not particularly

fond of rain and wind combined) but I have to admit I’m
looking forward to getting a few sunny photos soon: perhaps later tomorrow afternoon. The wind is forecast to veer to the
Southwest on Saturday and remain from that direction for a few days .... that
will get rid of the fog off the North Sea... and pollution from the Continent.
