.... 10.00 My goodness .... we had a

cracker
of sky at sunrise time this morning: a “red
sky in the morning etc” sky right enough.
It was one of those really spectacular skies... that begin about half an
hour before sunrise time. The weather
cams showed the potential for a bonnie sky so I was on the beach in plenty of
time. It fades as quickly as it ‘lights
up’ so you have to be there at the right time.
Since that excitement the sky has become overcast... though sunny spells
are mentioned in our weather forecast.
18.30 We did get some sunny spells so we’ve had a
nice enough day, but it has clouded over and rain is forecast to pass through
overnight. I’ve been keeping myself
busy, but I miss my morning coffee; it’s
not so much the coffee I miss, it’s the blethering. Coffee sachets only satisfy the caffeine
requirements.
I
had a good selection of sunrise photographs this morning; sorting them out was enjoyable. I dump any OOF (out of focus)ones then
check those that remain for any

other things that don’t please me. After I did all that I was left with 73 from
an original ‘rake’ of 129. I get
slightly excited when confronted with the kind of sky we had this morning. I don’t know what I’m going to do with them
all: I only use a few for ‘The Hutte’
and Facebook.
I
went up to Balcarres in the afternoon;
jings it was quiet up there. The
sun had disappeared behind a cloud bank so everything was bland looking. That said Spring is just ‘round the corner’; the daffy down dillies (olde English name) at
Chapel Green have been through since before Christmas. I did take few photos .... mostly for my
records. A hundred years from now someone
might browse their way through some of
Owlbert’s photographs.
Brexit
is well and truly back. I’ve reached
the conclusion that what the UK needs is

one charismatic politician with
Leadership qualities. We’ve got our
Prime Minister Theresa May offering ‘Her Deal’ plus some vague promises: Jeremy
Corbyn looking for an election that he is unlikely to win.... and the SNP
obsessed with a stupid idea called ‘Indyref2’. We do need the SNP (I’d get rid of the ‘N’)
to stick up for Scotland within the UK.
The other main parties push London/ Westminster interests in Scotland. This Brexit thing needs to be talked through
by all parties together; and that’s
where we need a Leader .... as in someone to ‘lead’! Hey that cured my migraine.... I’m a happy
boy now that I got that off my chest.
