22.00 We’ve had a busy day today, and another
busy day is planned for tomorrow.
Today we went to Cupar and Falkland... in “Sooper Buggy”, with Michael
driving, so the cinders have been well burnt out. Janice ‘browsed’ multiple shops in

Michael and I browsed one ....
Fisher and Donaldson’s cafe wherein we had a cuppa and a Fudge Donut! A braw, energy giving, start to the day out! Full of the aforementioned energy, Michael
and I then wandering up street until we met Janice. On the way back to the Car Park did we had
to pass Fisher and Donaldson’s, but couldn’t;
Michael and Janice went in and bought goodies/ FD’s ... for our ‘sweet’
tonight. “Puku” is enjoying being fed
succulent, ‘vigour’ giving foods! This
may be alright for “Puku” ... but I have to carry ‘him’ around!
Falkland,
and it’s Palace, has always been one of my favourite places to visit ... the
whole place is so photogenic. We began
by visiting the Palace, which doesn’t ‘open’ until 11.00. Today there was a queue... some folks
probably thought it ‘opened’ at 10.00.
Anyway we went through the Palace, which had been allowed to fall into
disrepair, before being saved in the 1890’s.
The building you go through today is the reconstructed/renovated building
of that date. That said you really get
the feel of being in a ‘Royal Palace’ because that is what it still is, the ‘owner’
being HM The Queen. After the Palace
we went and have a cuppa and scone in The Hayloft tea

room: Falkland a good choice of places to eat.
We
were back at Ivy with plenty of time to go down to the beach... well ‘the
troops’ went down to the beach to sunbathe;
I went down to take their photograph(s) about half an hour later. Jings the beach was busy; it looked like someplace from the south
coast. With me wearing long trousers,
and a jersey, I felt slightly over dressed!
‘M’,
Iain, Martin and Catriona are joining us tomorrow so we’ll have another hectic
day tomorrow. ‘M’ has had her hair
done, a fact I’d better remember to comment on when I pick her up tomorrow
morning. The ‘plan’ is, with the ‘troops’
being here, to sort out Maggie’s ashes,
and scatter them in the two places she chose.... the Chapel, and in the Dome Park. Maggie always reckoned that, had she lived
in medieval times she would have been burnt as a witch (heretic). Heretics were against the (then) Church
becoming rich in land and monies, not something that most

of the Bishops and
Abbott's agreed with, ... therefore ‘heretics’ had to ‘go’. Tomorrow we set Maggie ‘free’. Tomorrows weather is to be ‘sunny and warm, with
the chance of showers later.
